I don’t check any work junk (calendar, email) on the weekends. Laptop and phone get turned off Friday afternoon and they stay off until Monday morning. If you don’t protect your own sanity, no one will.

Be careful. It’s addicting!

We all laughed at the time, but The Matrix was right - civilization peaked in 1999.
I have no problem with subsidies but I believe they should be gradually phased out as revenue increases.
The beatings murders will continue until morale improves.

Yes, that is the major problem with LLMs in general. There is no solution aside from “train on another different source (like Reddit)”, but then we rinse & repeat.
If you don’t like Heat then you don’t like heist movies.

Game Pass also lets you do this via cloud play.

The Venn diagram of moderate users and GeForce subscribers has an overlap that’s about 2mm wide.

$1 million is just a normal home in most of the populated parts of the US. Literally 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2000 sq ft.
Real estate prices are out of control.

I had this same thought when my should-be-next-Saturday deliveries showed up yesterday.

Missed an opportunity to title it Carl the Caster.

Wow, the rare double whammy of fuck ups!
I hope the government loses by default on any cases that it can’t respond to in a timely manner.
Unsurprisingly, the more specialized and in-demand an officer’s skill-set is, the more likely the military is to lose them to the private sector. Four thousand troops left cyber jobs in 2024, despite DOW facing a 16% cyber position vacancy rate.
Yup. DoD pay sucks, and private sector benefits have pretty much caught up. I know people who left government positions for raises of 15%-33%. Government used to be able to pay less but still keep people due to the promise of stability, but those days are long gone.
Found the guy who doesn’t understand software, especially SaaS!

I’m gonna go to businesses I don’t like, hop on the Wi-Fi, and pirate from all the most obvious trackers.

as ubiquitous and useful as Microsoft 365
What a line! Directly referenced a hated service that butchers a whole suite of actually ubiquitous products.
I don’t know a single person who pays for M365. Companies pay for it because they’ve been locked in and/or are forced to for government compliance reasons, but no one actually wants that. Fucking ace thing to compare your AI service to, dipshit.
$5 says they’ll allow it since there’s nothing in the constitution that explicitly prohibits geofence warrants.
