The 1993 Super Mario Bros.
As campy and crappy as it is, it never fails to put a smile on my face and make me laugh, that movie rules.

I mean, I understand this argument, but Mozilla is still vastly superior to the alternatives. And as others have pointed out, even if Mozilla kicks the bucket, Firefox is open source and forks exist.
Mozilla has been making a lot of questionable decisions, but they are nowhere near the point-of-no-return yet. Mozilla is still a company, and companies make corporate decisions.
How difficult it is to remove Google’s bloatware.
I still use the same gmail I made when I was 10, roughly 2005-ish.
My world, Radia, which centers around aura manipulation and those skilled enough to turn said aura into magical weapons and spells!
I personally know one individual who was going to write-in RFK who will now be voting Harris. So far, it’s definitely having a positive effect.
That’s a really good point. Perhaps I am thinking too defensively. If someone as progressively strong as her does run, it will give them the excuse to ramp up their attacks on her, but also ramp up our attacks on them.
True, but there’s also a VERY loud dissent against her on the right, which they would be happy to run with in their ads up to the election. The right - and the sponsors behind them (Russia, chiefly) - ate experts at loudly dispersing disinformation with their rhetoric (see: anti-vaxers, everything about trump, etc), and having AOC in the spotlight would give them a lot of ammo in the form of ThE rAdIcAl LiBeRaLs “talking over the executive office” etc. I just don’t trust that the milquetoast voting public wouldn’t buy into that loud rhetoric enough to not siphon more votes than they would gain. Unless that’s too pessimistic of me?
The American public isn’t yet ready for AOC in executive office, as great a she would be. Her time is yet to come.
Last week I was severely panicking. This week is different. I’ve just been getting stoned and mentally preparing for the inevitable.
Barring the one-in-a- million chance of a coronary finally killing the bastard, trump is going to win this election.
When that happens, and the fascists seize control, they will be faced with preparing for yhe biosphere collapse via climate change (they 100% know it’s cooking), as well as ebay cpuld easily be the next superbug.
Covid was a sign of bugs to come, it was the first, but will not be an outlier.
And there’s nothing the fascists can do to hand-wave biosphere collapse or superbugs away - not with their firm stance of burying their head in the sand about it. They know it’s coming, but aren’t minding it.
Only the 1% escape this scenario, the richest reiterated our society, by preparing their doomsday bunkers. The rest of us will eeke through society, and you can pick whichever post-apocalypse story you’d like to think will happen, it will probably be a mix of several. My money’s on something like a realistic Fallout, but maybe that’s just cuz it’s fresh in my mind.
Buckle up. It doesn’t get better from here. Relax and prepare while you still have time.
I bought a 75" TV last week and, as soon as I finish my CD, I am going to download a mod-ultimate version of Fallout New Vegas, and spend several months melting into my couch and playing it.
I genuinely want to move there if trump wins. Could someone who only speaks english function there?
Completing the Path of Pain in Hollow Knight, and beating the true final boss of Enter the Gungeon both come to mind.
As an audiophile who just joined lemmy, any recommended Fediverses? :D (and am I using the term right?)
