I have no interest in talking to you.

This is my exact same experience. I ask for someone to elaborate on their stance, get told (not accused, told) I’m trolling. Ask for explanation/definition of a concept, get called an idiot shitlib and told to read some theory. Ask for civility, get told I deserve abuse for “endorsing genocide”. (By the way, I absolutely oppose the genocide in Gaza. But I’m a genocide supporter I guess because I won’t flush my vote third party this November.)
Hexbear is a community that expects you to conform. Every time there is a post like this, someone comes out of the woodwork and says “They’re nice people if you talk like them and agree with them on everything.” It’s cool that you’re not getting abused, but abuse is coming from that space, whether or not it is happening to you.
It’s a shame because I would like to hear the nuances of their viewpoints, but I can never get them to tell me what they are. Always complaining that nobody tries to understand, but dogpiling on anyone that asks questions. Then they pull up your report history and tell you “It’s just a little dunking bro, stop being a snowflake” for not putting up with it.
Users of Hexbear, if you’re reading these words, do better. Nobody is going to sympathize with your cause if you antagonize outsiders that want to learn more.
This just hurts. A whole loving family being thrown under the bus to protect one cop. Therapist sounds like a piece of work too, there should never be unwanted physical contact during therapy. Evil.
Meanwhile Starlink’s direct to cell capability is only growing. If your phone has 4G, Starlink knows where it is.
This is all news to me, could someone please elaborate/share some resources?
I don’t know anything about Starlink but I guess I should if it knows anything about me.

I dunno if I’d call it a review so much as a listicle. Also, “Seven” co-op? Does he play the games he recommends?
Also, furries. They like using the stickers.
I’ve been rewatching Monk, and something that really struck me is how much of the plot is based on coincidences, and it really makes it easy to pick out the killer. I was watching an episode where Captain Stottlemeyer mentions offhand an unsolved murder at a golf course, and later on someone Monk is talking to has a golfing trophy. Immediately knew it was him because golf had been mentioned twice and this show never wastes a Chekhov’s gun, or tries very hard to misdirect. I remember saying “I don’t know why yet but it’s him.”
15 years ago the first iPhone came out. Probably related.
Genesis 5: 2 says “Male and female he created them, and he blessed them.”
In an English translation. I’d be interested to see what subtleties in the original text didn’t make it over.
Depends, are you a hard drive or a router?
Also also, can we revisit nutritional information on the packages? Make the serving sizes more easy to understand to humans, I’m not measuring out cups, ounces, or grams of food. Every container should have a label, even if it came in a bigger package. Sweeteners should be combined into parentheses too so the ingredients don’t look like “water, flour, glucose, sucrose, dextrose, maltose, high fructose corn syrup, sugar” (now with less sugar!)
Grab your dick and double click!
the rule where it couldn’t be more than 12 characters long
This is the one I don’t get. Sure you don’t want people putting in an infinitely long password, but I like to have my passwords at around 15 characters. Why are you forcing me to make a less secure password?
Only reason I can think of is storage but even at a massive scale, this is text, paying for that storage would cost as much as a rounding error.
I installed Bazzite earlier this month as a dual boot and have been very happy with it. A lot of stuff just worked on bootup, haven’t installed a single driver, and that’s including my AMD GPU, just installed a game, plugged in my controller, and it played. Most games seem to run better than Windows. Fullscreen mode is a lot less annoying to tab out of - there isn’t the annoying momentary black screen, tab just happens. OBS seems to finally be on the level of Windows performance, although some of my favorite extensions are Windows-only. That’s been something of an annoyance, a lot of stuff is Windows-only, but usually if I Google “[program] Linux” I’ll get a workaround or substitute. I still leave Windows installed because of anti-cheat nonsense, but I rarely boot into Windows anymore.
Kind of meandering but that’s my experience so far. Overall pretty satisfied.
Since you mention it, here is the same guy using it for perfect parries and jump-ins as well.
I’ll read through those threads sometime. I don’t think I’ll be commenting in that instance though. Maybe I’ll look around for a community that clicks better to interact with. I don’t really have questions off the top of my head, sorry. I don’t know what I don’t know.
