I work at a small company of <100 people, and fortunately the CEO is a human that treats his employees like other humans and recognizes that without us, there would be no company anymore. However, all of his emails sound like the most heavily sanitized corpo-marketing-speak. If you were to judge him by his emails alone, you would never guess that. As it turns out, he uses Copilot to draft emails. When I found that out, it made so much more sense.

On a certain level, I get it. I hate writing emails. But the AI slop emails make him seem like a corporate goon and they ultimately dehumanize him to new employees. I don’t know if he realizes how impersonal the AI makes him seem. He probably has become slop-blind from using it too much.

I don’t think they were shitting on power windows, but rather the lack of option for a lower priced model without them. It wasn’t too long ago that there were economy models without power windows available for certain cars.

I think the person you are replying to may have been trying to point out the irony of the Americans who voted for Trump because they don’t want the state spending money on its poor citizens, when they turn a blind eye to the state investing heavily in private industry.

The only thing I hate more than seeing a standard “MAGA” merch is seeing “TRUMP 2028” merch. It’s disturbing how many of those I’ve seen around since the last US election.

If you look at the same section of the ADL website that Pepe is in, you’ll see the first page is just full of simple numbers (symbols are listed alphabetically). I don’t see anyone doing a similar study to the one posted here, but with “100%” instead of Pepe.

Also, side note, ADL lists “ACAB” as a hate symbol because some skinheads are racist and use the phrase. They have a similar disclaimer in the Pepe listing that context is an important consideration.

I feel like the kinds of people who assume every pepe is a symbol of hate are very similar to the kinds of people who assume that all metalheads are satanic. Some are, and some aren’t. It’s an overly reductionist view.

I have watched this man explain the refrigeration cycle, where he dicusses what latent heat of vaporization is in so many videos, so many times over, and I still could not tell you how it works.

But that doesn’t mean he’s not good at explaining it, it just means I have too much of a caveman brain to understand it.

It for sure is The Sun, but if you look closely at the logo, you will see it actually says “The U.S. Sun”. So it’s an American offshoot of the British newspaper and the domain OP was accessing is likely hosted in the U.S.
