And you’re never going to get an easily maintainable code base without enabling those really good senior devs who can do that. It’s more nuanced than the author of the article thinks, sometimes an unweildly process gets in the way of making changes required to improve maintainability.
Dunno what the laws are like where you live but might be worth doing some lessons with a friend on quieter country roads to get more practice with the clutch if possible.
The fp4 has an ok cpu with a Snapdragon 750, and fp5 is pretty good, has a QCM6490.
Not the best value for money though considering the price of similar spec phones 😅 (except that will be worth it if you end up needing to replace the screen)

Just use a good GUI tool for git and Google how to do stuff with command line when needed, you’ll eventually pick it up. Chatgpt and it’s ilk can also be helpful with figuring out things when Google fails.
