Can I ask why? I’m far removed from a lot of what’s going on. Black Flag was the only AC game I played through. Not the I didn’t try some of the earlier ones.
Is it general Ubisoft stuff or the game in particular?

The hardware makes it sound like it will still be $1 000 minimum. Mayhaps more with everything going on.
The article didn’t say their stance on opening the device. Does it void warranty to upgrade or repair?
I just wanted to talk to people and less bots. I’m sort of becoming discouraged though. A lot of stuff here that interests me involves reading articles and it feels like most people just go off the headlines. Then there are certain subs that just feel so angry, like the gamer ones.
I’m always toying with the idea of joining some forums but I never know which are still alive. If anyone knows solid game, book, or film ones please lmk.

Dastmalchian as Bison. <3

I know almost 0 about Hytale. I played a lot of Minecraft but never interacted with their stuff. I also never got into minigames outside of the old school Mob Arena plugin.
All that said, this looks really cool to me. I’ve wanted to see something build upon the foundation of Minecraft. Now even more so with MS murdering developers left and right at the alter of AI. I have looked at Vintage Story a few times at length, but each time I walk away thinking it looks way too hardcore for me.

I used to use a username, for like 10+ years, but had a “personality” use the same name and become popular. That was before Twitch blew up, so I can’t imagine it is any less common now. I saw in the Hytale FAQ that they will claw back names that popular users use. I get it, but also it is strange. I guess that is the world today, everyone wants to be a brand.

I think you just noted why they compared them. Both were huge.
Kinda sad to see the state of them now.

I’ve never played either the original or its DLC. Does it get any more weird west outside of zombies?

How much couch money do I need to acquire Westwood’s NoX out of this?

It is important to mind the small text, showing where the data came from. Subscribers and followers on YouTube, Spotify, Rumble, Twitch, Kick, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

I’m using a very very old nook and enjoy it. I kinda want whatever I use to be just for reading, and nothing else. This way it all points to one thing. I also have like a first or second Gen kindle but it, while technically better, is slow as heck and filled with bloat.
I am tempted by modern colored e-ink, but I hear it isn’t super color accurate yet.
I feel like a guide site is very likely to get scraped up by AI. People just typing in “How to repair buildings in Worshippers of Cthulhu” and getting their answer without ever knowing who wrote it out originally. I hope the best for them. I think it’s a cool endeavor.

Oh for sure my confidence is way low. I don’t do much early access stuff and CU would definitely not be an exception.
I want good things for it is all. Seeing a video drop is nice, if only to show a sign of life.

I’ll try it when it comes out. I really got hooked by Warhammer Online mostly until it closed (now alive again).
I never backed it, but I never felt Jacob’s as anyone bad. He put his own money in and I believe they did considerable refunds after a while. Maybe a bit misguided with whatever that spinoff game was. Warhammer Online tried the same thing after he had already left, with Wrath of Heroes.
If it is fun PvP, I’ll be there. I hope they popularize something new again. I feel like many games have some version of public quests now.
I just moved and my cat really really wanted to smell the tape measure. I don’t know why, but it’s always like a minute long process along the length I happen to have out. I wouldn’t dare deny her, especially when she is so thorough.

I would be extremely surprised if they don’t find a way to get more money out of it. Cosmetics for sure. Perhaps quests at some point. I feel like full expansions are kinda dead though and certainly out of scope, as isn’t just the normal game in an Unreal 5 wrapping?
I play ESO, and love it, but I have been shaken down too aggressively to trust.

It’s cool to see things get to stick around. I felt the same with APB from Little Orbit. It’s just cool to see games still exist.

Oblivion has my heart, but I’m not super interested in this. So far some of the visual choices look less inspired than the original take, and I don’t just mean the yellow filter. The dryad went from other worlds to person with a dryad skin equipped.
I’m more interested in the Skyblivion mod. It feels more like it improves upon what was there and has some cool deviations of its own.

I’ve played the first Mirrors Edge to like 75% maybe three times over the years since it released. I just started downloading the second today. Do you think it is ill advised to skip the last quarter of the first? It has been a while since I played it and I feel like I would burn out again.
Great game. I think it’s me.
This connects with my memory. I recall spending all my happy time at sea for hours upon hours. Now that you mention it, I do remember a silly follow mission at sea.
I had not considered the obvious micros they will surely add.
I’m the wrong person though to measure a good AC game 🏴☠️. I could not get into the first one and I know a lot of people have a lot of love for it. Thank you for taking the time to answer.
