The protest brought me here but I’m staying because I like it more.

I’m on the verge of switching my gaming PC to Linux, the bloat of windows is becoming too much. I’m fairly PC literate but don’t know anything about Linux or distros. It is intimidating to commit to a platform where I know so little. Does anyone have any tips regarding distros or learning the basics?

I can attest to this. I went to Voat briefly, shit was wild.

As a site it had merit but unfortunately it ended up scooping up a good number of the forced exiles from Reddit and not nearly as many normal users. Content had a big skew.

Nah, karma isn’t important. If we want an indicator of reputation I’d lean more towards a flair that the community can award.

Honestly I don’t think you’ll find any one thing you can eat that will tick all of the boxes indefinitely, otherwise we would already be eating it!

With portion sizes controlled my easy vote would be an egg stir fry with low amounts of oil, a minimal sauce, and lots of in season veg.
