You need to find a better restaurant than Red Lobster.
A proper kitchen will crack open and loosen the meat before service.
Greed and jail is keeping him in the race. Followed by narcissism and the drive for power. (The last 2 are a requirements for a politician of any stripe).
No one elected Musk.
Tax the hell out of him.
Thankfully, my favorite group, the acappella group Home Free is still inexpensive and even cheap - I paid $30 a seat to see them last year. I could have had a $15 seat in the balcony if I had wanted.
2,204C is for those in Boca Raton and Rio Linda…
As someone who has taught math to students in a classroom, unless you have at least a basic understanding of HOW the numbers are supposed to work, the tool - a calculator - is useless. While getting the correct answer is important, I was more concerned with HOW you got that answer. Because if you know how you got that answer, then your ability to get the correct answer skyrockets.
Because doing it your way leads to blindly relying on AI and believing those answers are always right. Because it’s just a tool right?
So you think a low payed adult worker will either?
Ain’t none of you people ever been inside a packing plant have you?
Do you one better - My mini-desktop is plugged into a monitor with no microphone or camera.
Lots of promises get made in an election. But you still got to make it happen if you win.
You for got to mention the free and heavily discounted prices to get Mac computers into schools to get kids hooked on them. Which is something they still do to this I think.
The miss use of the term “billet”. As in “Made from Billet Aluminum to military specs” I have literally sourced metals from all over the world. Ain’t no one ever tried to sell me “billet” anything.
A billet is an old term that was used when iron and steels were smelted and then poured in to either kind of a bread loaf mold or a round shape called a bloom. It would then be reheated at a later time and then formed into the final shape. No one would use “billet” or a “bloom” to make anything from it. It would have been “sponge” like and to soft to be useful for anything.
Fecking sales trying to market to ignorant people with a term that doesn’t mean what anyone thinks it means.
Just a curious question - Is there any VR sets that work with Linux Distros? I’m not much of a gamer to need or want one. Just want to learn for learning’s sake.
And there is no reason not to either. You would still be looking at the cli in Unix with that attitude.
Don’t sweat “what distro” so much. All the major distros offer the same desk tops. So pick a distro you like and just download the KDE Plasma spin of it and enjoy.
But that would require effort to learn to do something different. And a lot of users are firmly against that notion.
Personal bias about addictions is a real thing and you aren’t alone. The shrapnel of an addiction can leave some pretty heavy scars on those who have to live around an addicted person. And it matters not a whit about what the actual addiction is.
If you have those scars, I hope you find internal peace.
Almost everything you can buy is designed to be addicting. From video games to peanut butter. Because that’s how you get people to continue to use your specific product.
So choose your addictions carefully and try to keep them as under control as possible. Sadly, some can do that and some cannot.
I use Phind solving computer problems. It does cite the sources it uses. At least for distro and general Linux issues. So far, it’s been a very good resource when I’ve needed it.
