Don’t see it yet. This is so weird… Can you see my ping?
Pinged you. It’s my same handle as here on mastodon
I’ll ping you on mastodon
It seems someone has used it up. It’ll have to be a private message
Even if it’s boring, I want to give it a try. I already have mastodon and lemmy to keep entertained but wouldn’t mind just checking it out.
Sure!
Others have commented that it’s no better. But I’d still like to try it out!
Thanks!
And I’m just sitting here waiting for a Bluesky invite.
That is in the context of “Apple customers”.
Just a thought.
As someone who just lost their ESTA, this whole thing is bullshit.
I’m a citizen of an European country, left Cuba when I was a minor and have zero interest in going to Cuba.
Yet I can’t go see my daughter in the USA without a visa.
Literally last week I was at the US Embassy requesting the visa, they gave me a 10 year pass (thank fuck).
But my whole family has to go through the same process. It’s all bullshit. I had to wait in line for two hours, in a city that’s far away from where I live, just to get the visa.
Edit: not to mention that this whole process takes hundreds of euros, around 150€ just for filling their online form, then add travel and accommodation expenses.
In my previous company I used VS for Mac, it wasn’t a great experience… but it was better than nothing. Then along came a Rider license…
The tooling for VS Code might have improved, but Rider is the IDE of choice… even on windows.
While I agree that in the end this is probably not good in the long run, I do hope they do something with the state of Call of Duty, activision has killed the franchise. Just look at the latest warzone / MW player count.
I used to enjoy playing with my friends. But the game is so broken.
I do think Phil Schiller is a good guy, let’s hope this doesn’t go sideways.
Maybe I’m being naive… only time will tell.
While I personally use the command line for most commands (specially git clean -fdx) I find using a client like Fork is useful for deleting local and remote branches at the same time.
Same goes for complicated rebases, which aren’t frequent, but I do use them.
As years go by, this movie gets more accurate, and it’s starting to feel like a horror film because of how similar it is to my daily work life.
As an adult I’ve often tried to be conscious of when different aches are not happening. Maybe it’s a sign of getting old.
