Hello, I have been doing sourdough from quite some time now. My advice would be to search some dedicated channels on youtube. Pro Home Cooks, The bread code, Sourdough journey are all great sources of information. The quantity of information you can get can be overwhelming but the actual process is not so complicated and sourdough starter is actually quite resistant.

You can read the dawn of everything book which is a very interesting take at a lot of those assumptions which are indeed false. This book goes deep into the ideological bias scientists have when interpreting evidence.

This reminds me of Patrick Combs who deposited a fake junk mail check “for the joke” in 1995 and actually received the 95000$ in his personal bank account. The story of what happened after is actually really interesting. Here is a good video about it (it is in french but there is good subtitles in english, and a lot of the video is in english anyway). He manage to write a book about it, became some kind of national hero representing the honest simple man vs the big banks, and became a motivational speaker, telling the story of his war with the bank, all the intimidation, fears, etc.
