Being in a highly technical field I agree with you in wondering the point of tablets, but I am seeing a couple of people in the local transport use it as a replacement for pen-paper with an added advantage of collaboration on a document with multiple people.
I’m not bothered to check, but tablets might be cheaper than 2-in-1 or otherwise touchscreen PC laptops.

Uhh… not clear on what you’re claiming here… you can validate the traffic is going to the expected instance using a web app, without requiring any special software by running Developer tools and heading to the network tab.

Now I am thinking about how insane it would be for MP gamers when someone puts the game on hold for an indiscriminate amount of time.
Are you able to view YouTube at all with NoScript enabled ? When I tried it out last the page itself doesn’t load because everything is JS based.
