I’d say generally any pasta or rice or veg will turn to paste if frozen. You kinda also lose any flavor apart from salty and sweet. But don’t misunderstand me, it’s fine and a very good way to conserve meals but you will lose most of the magic, the ice feels like it’s breaking everything down.
I’m always happy to put a throroughly frozen meal for 9 minutes in the wave instead of making any sort of effort. But freezing food kinda ruins most flavours and texture.
Too much tossing and topping and eggs. That’s three superfluous actions.
So I’ll reinforce my first suggestion to look into turn-based CRPG as a genre and see for yourself. That’s where you’ll find most of the mechanics you seem to want and you won’t have to take the opinions of strangers as to how much gore is too much for you.
Is any form of violence or blood a no-no? If you can accept some, Larian (bg3’s developper) was already well known for the Divinity series. Many even say that BG3 is kind of Divinity:Original Sin 3 with a DnD license. You’ll still be killing some people though. Otherwise, I suggest searching for Turn-Based games which BG3 is. You might like Battletech which is a mech warrior themed game or the X-Com series where there’s an alien invasion.
And also, you might have been mislead by the videos. Yes the brain parasite is important but you’re really only directly dealing with mind flayers (the tentacle clad monsters) in the very beginning and very end. The rest is just a classic fantasy setting.
Canned water from the alps shipped worldwide is very stupid though. It’s not on topic here but fuck these companies too. This branding is also incredibly cringy in any other setting than a party where you want to fit in with beer cans while not drinking. And let’s not pretend that most people that drink this don’t have access to potable water on tap.
I think we’ve been far more evil towards them than the other way around. We cut the most beautiful of them to make furniture after all.
IN what way would that be evil? They produce the very thing that keeps us alive by transforming what kills us.
I really like Degas and Monet, and to a larger extent impressionism as a whole. To me their painting transcend vision only and I feel like I can hear the sound and smell the air of the scene depicted. By far my favourite art movement.
I also love Jan Van Eyck and how precise and tangible his paintings are. The Arnolfini portrait and Virgin and Child with Canon van der Paele are what immediately come to mind. Fur, silk, wood, paint, metals, reflections and soft shadows, everything is just incredibly lifelike and three dimensional. The reflection in the mirror in the Arnolfini portrait is also pretty crazy considering the entire thing is about a square foot in size.
There’s plenty of others like Caravaggio and Rembrandt for their incredible use of chiaroscuro and depiction of emotions or Hieronymus Bosch with his wild scenes that often look like lsd infused fever dreams.
Yeah that’s pretty much what I meant.
It didn’t read like this was the joke to me. Disney isn’t in a creative rut, they’re purposefully not trying new stuff.
That’s not what I was trying to say though. Not the last part at least.
The one you like and because you like it.
Funny post but that’s not really the difference between both studios. One makes movies because they love them while the other (re)makes movies to monetize them. Miyazaki’s style and ideas are iconic but that’s aslo true of a lot of Disney’s movies. It’s just corpo greed as always.
Yet you asked “what is this”. Lol, you’re tripping balls mate. Plus who are you to decide what’s good, bad, strong or weak. Especially with some bullshit like “it’s apart from the world” (it’s not, it’s definitely part of it you aren’t transcending dimensions here). Anyway get some sleep.
Give me an example of a better answer to whatever you wrote here. And I wasn’t trying to be insulting I’m sorry. It’s just very hard to understand what you are questionning beyond “society bad! Yes/No?”
What do you think then?
Or did you really only want someone to answer you “It’s hell” and confirm your bias? You really read like an angsty teenager who just had it’s first joint and 101 philosophy class.
Edit: Are you suggesting people shouldn’t have the right to debate with one another? Or that some should get it but not the others?
edit:edit: Why are YOU doing it?
Is there still some that use it because all the others did? Copycat style just to fit in and feel legit to unknowing listeners?
I did try those exact tortellinis and I can tell when they’ve been frozen vs straight from the pack. It’s all in the texture not the taste. They get mushy as soon as they get hot enough even though I tend to undercook pasta because I like them very al dente. Totally edible but far, far worse than cooking fresh ones especially considering it’s almost the same time and effort. But don’t get me wrong I’m not arguing it’s stupid and that nobody should do it. I know not everyone has the opportunity to just go across the street to get fresh ingredients on a daily basis and freezing is a fantastic mean of conservation. It’s just a personal preference.
