Presumably people expect protection to cover more than half the torso. Temu is notorious for having the lowest quality grey market QA-failed products for sale at bargain pricing, often receiving incorrect sizes.


Those two statements are distinctly separate, and accurate. The previous health issues that ended missions early were unrelated to the ISS.
A lot of time and effort goes into ensuring astronaut health and mitigating exposure leading up to missions.
Picking the most incompetent administration to take this on is a smart move. They’re extremely likely to fuck up defending it.
