Me as well. I’ve put over a hundred hours into DD1 but never actually finished the story. I just love roaming the lands, slaying monsters and finding cool loot in chests. Absolutely love the game, and I’m more excited for DD2 than anything GTA.

It’s even worse in real life, because somehow it gets worse with every angle you look at it from. It’s also got a name. They call it Leo. I call it cursed.

Wow, that makes so much sense! I hated that I could never predict the dialogue outcome in that game. Maybe it’s time for a revisit?

Artists should own their styles, but only in combination with their name. Forgery has always been a problem, but it’s obviously a lot more accessible thanks to AI. As a hobbyist artist myself, I don’t see monetary value as the main problem, but rather misrepresentation. Feel free to copy my style, but don’t attribute your art to me — AI generated or otherwise.

That being said, I’m super excited about this evolution of technology.

Not really a Let’s Play, but more of an “I’m Playing“, but I recently discovered SourSweet’s DayZ series. He only edits for time and to add film score type music to heighten the drama, as well as narration. He’s calm and collected, very skilled at the game, and there are no memes.

OoT is, IMO, one of the best games ever made, with or without subtext.

This is my exact genre of choice. I’m only gonna list the games I play, because I can’t name them all.

Just about any sandbox survival game will fit the bill:

• Minecraft (obvi, but needs another mention)
• Satisfactory
• Rust
• Valheim
• Raft (there’s some story to read if you want to actually complete the game)

Then you have the simulators:

• Dreamlight Valley (a lot of story in this one, but once you get past the dialogue and tutorials it’s basically fetch quests and farming)
• My Time at Portia (same with this)
• Car Mechanic Simulator 2021
• House Flipper
• The Sims
• TABS (honourable mention; whimsical battle sandbox with some customisability)

Mostly Rust, these days. However, we have played (and enjoyed) Valheim, Satisfactory, Raft, For the King and Heroes of the Storm. I want to get back to multiplayer Minecraft again though. Playing alone is getting old.

I really like it thus far. The web app is slick with Safari on iPhone, but I’ve yet to try it on an iPad or PC. The community seems great. Definitely getting an old Reddit vibe. It’s good to be here!
