  • Yes, dissent is healthy and important. That’s my point. Have you looked at what dubvee.org is doing?

They scan the fediverse for comments that violate whatever code they claim to enforce. Then they instance ban those offenders from their instance and all of their subs. Then they tag that user in their ban of shame wall.

For example, I am tagged there as banned for something like “advocating assassination” like 8 months ago. And I had no idea they were even doing this.

This was long before the whole Luigi thing. And before both Trump assassination attempts.

I can’t even tell what comment I made that would justify them to slander me in such a way. Because they never told me.

Go ahead and look up my username in their ban log over there, see if you can figure it out. Maybe look up your own username. You might be surprised to find out what they are saying about you.

They are either the SRS of Lemmy, or some truthsocial data collection operation.

“An instance on .ml” you mean a community? Or you mean another domain name using the .ml top level domain? If it’s the latter, you probably mean lemmygrad.ml. If it’s the former, there are already quite a few communities on there which have a lot of subscribers and often appear in the “all” feed. Normally those are fine. But every now and then you’ll see some tankie comment and like 99% of the time it’s some user from that instance.
