Really don’t know how they thought of the name Firefish without thinking it would make people think of Firefox first. Like how did they brainstorm this name, it makes me wonder

Love the recommendations here! Would also like tech YouTube or general content creator recommendations too since a lot of them say some really sus shit that has nothing to do with tech. Recently unsubbed from one that outright made a blatantly sexist joke complete with visuals
I love Bear and used to use it a lot, but don’t want to be locked into just apple stuff. Still I am glad to see they’re still going strong and I’m really happy they aren’t forcing AI integration (which is something Notion has done/is currently doing and monetizing…).
So glad to see Roadwarden mentioned! Another short game I played recently is Paradise Marsh. Its not really text-focused (it’s more dialogue and only some snippets of lore pieces) but it’s a short simple game with a very nice story. It also has birds that make poems!
Humble bundles for learning materials tend to be really poor. I’ve tried buying a programming bundle before and it was definitely worse than a lot of other free/accessible coding resources on the internet. Some may be tempted with the low prices but if someone wants a paid course there are more reputable resources that aren’t part of the bargain bin bundles that humble bundle offers.
Of course, this is just my experience.
DDG for everyday usage. Sometimes I try searching the same things on google just to compare results. I’ve tried searxng instances on and off in the past but its rarely been reliable for me and self hosting isn’t really an option for me.
I used stitcher in the past, but uninstalled it soon after. I eventually moved to using Antennapod. Still using it now!
I actually discovered Matrix through the comments on here and am now using Element. I’m really glad about it. I knew there was something fishy with discord suddenly being so intrusive about their super long “birthday celebration” (with annoying unread notification needing me to click on their gift reveals ugh) and making activities free or whatever lol.
imo it’s worth it to play the megaten spinoffs in general, just like what helix said in another comment here. In particular I would like to recommend Devil Survivor because of a lot of things: has a skill steal (skill crack) system so you progressively get better skills for yourself and your demons, makes you think about how you make your team, the first game has the best alignment ending choices in the whole megaten series, the demon auction system, and more. Also: Octopath traveler and its sequel are good
