Just had a crazy thought. What if that’s their plan for retaliation? What are they going to do, go toe to toe with the US military? Fucking suicide. Attack the assets of the real power in America. Cost the billionaires money and they’ll go crying to trump to end the war.

So it’s not like say horse betting? Or something with odds like roulette?

Soooo where does the money come from? I haven’t looked into it but I imagine they just have odds on events like this. How does this not bleed polymarket dry? If people are betting big and winning on low chance outcomes, polymarket has to account for that money somewhere. If it happens more often than the odds would allow, they should be losing money.

We’re paying the last payment on my wife’s car this month. We’ve been getting calls and emails from the dealership telling us what a prefect time it would be to upgrade. One night the gummies kicked in and I decided to reply to the clearly automated and canned email. It was dripping with snark, along the lines of “I’ll never buy a car because an email prompted me to”. Got a call the next day from the dealership where they apologized… and then went right into a sales pitch.

Who could have possibly predicted something like this?

My recollection was if it was on like school property or some place kids were likely to be. That would trigger some enhancement to the crime. I’ve never been in a position to need to know if that’s true or not.

Honestly, I think we need someone to brazenly and publicly abuse the same loopholes they exploited. Then dare them to close them.

I’ve heard so many dumbass red hats crying that the US provided too much to other nations while getting little in return. They’re about to find out what we actually were getting in return. If other nations step up their militaries to fill in gaps where the US is abdicating its lead role, we’ll have less use for our own and can lower recruitment incentives/quotas. If we piss on trade deals with other countries, they’ll work more with China and other world leaders, stripping the US of its influence globally. Worst of all, even if their propagandist of choice have then that info, they are literally too stupid to understand.

Interviewed at a place. Asked how many hours for a normal work week in engineering. They casually say 45-50. Mentally shut that door so damn fast.
