I remember playing Destiny 1 and being so underwhelmed. I picked up Destiny 2 with my friends after it went f2p and it’s honestly gotten so much better. Crazy that it’s been 10 years now.
Pretty much my thoughts as well.
My bet is that they’re going to allow other people from the fediverse to post on it but won’t allow instagram users to see other instances. Wouldn’t want your customers getting off the official servers now.
I played Genshin Impact up until I explored the world and beat a couple of bosses. As soon as it asks me to grind dungeons and pulls I dipped out. Gacha games suck, it’s always a massive time (or money) sink where you get almost nothing in return. Sure, I could spend a month grinding for that legendary character. Then what? I’ll beat one DPS check before getting stuck again and having to grind for the next thing. It’s surprising how many people pay money in these games and don’t realize how pointless it is.
Looks pretty good, but there’s a serious lack of stunning enemies with the flashlight that Alan Wake was known for. I hope they didn’t remove that mechanic.
You should probably answer those Discord notifications lol
New music tracks? Now that’s actually exciting.
Cautiously optimistic, it all comes down to how well designed the missions are. People are nostalgic for the old Assassin’s Creed games but a lot of the missions were just “follow this guy” or really shallow stealth missions. Either way, I’m so happy they decided to go back to an Arabic setting. There are such few games that explore it.
My proudest moment is cheesing the hell out of the Goron temple. Without spoiling anything, I did not follow the path I was supposed to follow and somehow bumbled by way through to the end.
There are so many decent Pokemon clones out there that there’s honestly little reason to buy the new ones. From what I’ve seen they are a total bore fest and way too easy, I think people just need to accept they’re kids games and move on. I personally really enjoyed Monster Sanctuary. Even though it’s a very different game it gave me the same enjoyment of catching monsters and building a team.
Good luck enforcing something like that.
or maybe we acknowledge these issues and browse lemmy for entertainment and getting away from the stresses of daily life rather than be constantly reminded of it and roped into repetitive discussions that are preaching to the choir
err, what I meant was we need to burn down the system
