Oooh, where can I read about this spicy news? I haven’t been back to reddit since my app was killed

Oh that’s sketchy AF. Can you share a screenshot? Not that I disbelieve you, but I’d love to see proof of reddit’s fuckery with not actually removing content
I haven’t yet overwritten/deleted my comments because I haven’t been back since the initial blackout so I can’t verify it myself
Your edits won’t show up on Google for a long time (not sure how often it refreshes) but clicking through should show you your now edited/deleted comment
I’m a redditfugee (?) but using the voyager web app absolutely scratches my reddit itch for reading/participating in discussions on posts. I switch which server I’m logged into and sorting methods to see the widest spectrum of content
As apps are being developed, there will be a more seamless experience but for now I’m excited to be part of something “new” and something that’s going to be part of internet history
For what? To engage in the community as a whole and to encourage others to as well, or to get your community noticed by people browsing the different filters (new, hot, active, top…)
For why I’d want to post? It would depend on what I’m posting. For example, if it was a meme I thought was funny and it got a lot of upvotes, I’d feel good knowing that other people found it funny, too
If I post looking for a conversation about a topic or at an answer to a question, I’d be excited for some upvotes but a little let down if no one actually responded
Also there’s no incentive to be a karma whore on reddit either… well except their harebrained idea to monetize whatever new award system is coming
