They have roughly no tanks left.

Production is at one a day plus one or two refurbished from really old wrecks.

    Or so it seems!

Well I do not think so, but please tell me where they are. Maybe with att those elite troups we hear about but never see?

NATO has never been a threat to russia, only to russian expansionism.

They appear to have 2-3k left. Many of that are from the 1950s and in really bad shape (read sitting in a junkyard, possible to restore but it would be months of full time work for a team that knows what they are doing). They also have a fair number in working order, but they dare not use them because they have barely enough for emergency needs and cannot afford to risk them getting destroyed.

Yeah they all just refurbed T80s from the… 80s…

If they have any 4th gen tanks (that arent rubble or prototypes) i doubt they are frontlining them anymore

The 80s isn’t too bad a vintage - the M1 and M1A1 Abrams are from around then.

They’re fielding really old shit like T-62s and T-55s though.
