Yes, there’s idiots everywhere.
It’s a difficult question. Of course these people probably are assholes. Apart from that, if they’re citizens like everyone else, paying taxes etc they should be able to spend their money however they want, wartime or not, right?
If they spent the money on figurines or whatever instead of cars that wouldn’t help the war effort.
I am saying that ukranians don’t have an obligation to help with fighting imo. It’s good if they do and want to, but people should be free to do as they want.
This may come off as a rant, but there’s been a spate of these incidents and it makes me sick.
I’m confused. What incident? Looks like a dumbass driver doing dumbass driver things, and wrecking his own car, and what looks to be a wooden fence.
What context am I missing?
There are two other “drifters” behind the car that crashed.
Two more BMW drivers were identified and brought to justice❗️
📍One of the drifters drove through the central streets of the capital, brazenly violating traffic rules and creating obstacles for other road users. The man filmed his aggressive driving and boasted of his “achievements” on social networks.
📍Another staged a “Fast & Furious” on the day when the enemy carried out a combined massive strike on the capital, killing 28 people and wounding 142 people.
Together with agents of the Kyiv City Police Department, we found the drivers, took them to the police station and compiled the relevant reports: in total, 20 citations were drawn up against the drivers for violating traffic rules, and information was also entered into the URPI for hooliganism. The investigation is ongoing.
