I have a graphics card with a display port, HDMI and vdi-d. HDMI is already in use, and I want to add a second screen which has VGA cable. As far as I know VGA to vdi-d won’t work, will VGA to display port will work?
Short answer: yes, vga -> dp adapters do exist and work.
Longer answer: In general, VGA is old enough that most things don’t play well with it, even if theoretically possible, usually not a good idea.
Thanks for your answer! I need to change monitors soon or later for sure.
VGA? Are you sure it’s VGA? (Kind of kidding, just that I haven’t seen a VGA connector in 20 years).
Do you perhaps mean DVI?

Yea I meant DVI, I missed typed it. I have old monitors that work great.
Yea, HDMI to DVI is normal, I have a couple adapter cables. It works fine.
