As of the end of August, the whereabouts of two-thirds of more than 1,800 men detained at Alligator Alcatraz during the month of July could not be determined
I’m sure they did that and that was the intention on the location, but it was shut down by a judge.
ETA: Also, these were boys (some teenagers) to men taken without due process in a lot, if not most, of the cases. These could be US citizens and/or legally here people. Regardless, they don’t deserve to die, be tortured, or separated from their families in a prison for any of this.
