Eligible or not, I don’t think she’d be a good president. She’s tactical and hands on. FTC was perfect for her because it played to her strengths and gave her a chance to have high impact. I would love for her policy beliefs to influence a president, but I’m not sure she would succeed if she wasn’t able to be in the weeds.
Good on Mamdani for hiring her. Sounds like the transition team are smart, and given the battle they’re going to face, it’ll be clutch.
