If you’re ready to be pissed off, keep reading and researching. I saw a figure from the Guardian: over 320k detentions and deportations last year. That’s already deep into false positive territory for the legal citizen metric. I couldn’t find an exact figure, because this headline made me a bit too sick to continue: 2025 was ICE’s deadliest year in two decades. Here are the 31 people who died in custody (Also, the Guardian) Thirty one human lives are gone because they didn’t have the right paperwork. And that was just in ICE Custody. It doesn’t include CECOT and wherever else people were deported to.
