A woman is dead after being shot by a federal agent during an ICE operation Wednesday morning in south Minneapolis. U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called the woman's actions leading up to the shooting "an act of domestic terrorism."
It’s an entirely separate staff, and they aren’t in bed with the administration like Fox News (but they are like any other ABC, CBS, NBC etc affiliate).
So an affiliate means that it’s a different company that owns a TV station, but they have affiliation with a certain network and carry all or parts of their programming. In Theory the affiliating company, in this case fox, doesn’t have any oversight of the TV station company. In theory. So a Fox affiliate Channel would show things like shows produced by fox, sporting events produced by Fox, and maybe certain other special programs. However they would still have their own local programming as well, mainly local news.
True, although again it’s not Fox News. It’s the Fox Broadcasting Company. So most of the programs they are showing are The Simpsons and and Sunday football and reality tv shows and baseball games and stuff like that.
Also I know a lot of fox Affiliates are owned by Sinclair broadcasting, which is arguably worse.
