Focusing on the ineffability* of finding a solution is just pointless and counterproductive. Don’t think of what must be done in the sense of what’s “correct”, because there’s no such thing. “History offers no control groups”, so you can only try and do what you believe the right thing is. Looking away definitely isn’t.
