But nobody seem to care that the soccer mom who was just coming back from dropping her kid to school was also fearing for her life when some ICE officer aggressively tried to open her car door. And also why should we tolerate ICE agents carelessly creating avoidable situations where innocent bystanders fear for their life to begin with? Sometimes those situations are downright created purposefully to give themselves a pretext power trip over people, even up to shooting someone and it looks like it could be the case there.
Yes, it’s all bad faith arguments to try to have an appearance of legitimacy. The simple truth is they think they have every right to murder anyone who doesn’t support them.
Also, Republicans have advocated that drivers should be able to run over protestors blocking roads. Even if she did hit him, I think running over a masked armed man in the road should be even more justifiable than running over protestors.
