Maul wasn’t really Obi-Wan’s arch enemy, it was other way around.

Obi-Wan could care less about Maul, while Maul was obsessed with Obi-Wan

Maul is the Boba Fett of the prequels - immediately jobbed to the heroes in the film, but fans liked him based purely on cool factor so the EU pulled an “only mostly dead” and brought him back. 99% of his character and plot is in supplemental materials like the animated series.

He had a whole ass storyline in clone wars and rebels

Long story short, he was very angry at Obi-Wan for cutting him in half

No, Maul was angry for Obi-Wan to just assuming he was dead after he was cut in half, and abandoning him there like if he didn’t matter anymore. (The nerve!)

I don’t remember he ever complaining about being cut. That’s just fair-play.

Makes sense. I’ve never seen clone wars and haven’t even heard of rebels, so I had no idea he survived

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some Clone Wars followed by Rebels and then Ahsoka…

Might check out clone wars some day. The Disney ones though I’ll likely forget before I get the chance

Well, I tried. Anyway, Clone Wars is a cartoon about all the things that Lucas didn’t show in the prequels. Rebels is about the beginning of the rebellion. Ahsoka is just the continuation of all that happened in the previous series’.

As far as Ahsoka being Disney produced, it isn’t that bad, and we get Thrawn. Now, if we could get Noghri…
