As much as I would love if that narrative was true, it is typically the upper-middle to super-upper class that goes to events at the Kennedy Center. While their audience may lean slightly more left than your local country club members, they are still wealthy. I promise they are not having trouble filling seats as the wealthy do not give nearly as much of a shit about Trump as the rest of us.
All these sudden reasons for them to close it that don’t involve the embarrassment of “nobody wants to buy tickets that support fascists taking over.”
