I’m a big advocate for taking their money, being loud about what they wanted for it, and then just not doing it.
Bribes don’t come with binding contracts.
Take the money and tell them to fuck off.
Eventually they’ll stop trying to bribe everyone. If you turn it down, they’ve lost nothing
The trick is like the 50k ICE “signing bonuses”.
Multiple reports have stated that those bonuses have ten year+ payout plans, or are just outright delayed by several years before the facist sees anything.

I’ve always had a similar thought about if I ever became a politician. Sure I’ll take your money and then I’ll put you on blast and I’ll donate it to a deserving charity or community program.
