It was carrying it’s baby on it’s back…

That trailer chassis is bearing a lot of weight & stress. Normally a semi truck is synonymous with 18-wheeler but there are definitely not 18 wheels to help with this load.
To the Wes Andersonmobile!
That pic is kind of beautiful.

Honestly it took me a while to convince myself this wasn’t a painting. At one stage I wondered if it was a Wes Anderson set.
This is more than mildly interesting. I’d say it’s somewhat interesting. Dare I say it’s intriguing?
Color me intrigued 🧐
I wanna see the inside.
I want to see the process of getting that car down. I see what I think is a crane arm.
Looks like a davit designed for loading a small boat onto a larger boat.
Here, we apparently see the land lubber’s version of the same.
how do they get the car down?
Floor it!
You can see an itty bitty crane lol
But really they should have made a small “garage” and a ramp instead.
you know I was trying to figure out if that was what it was but I was like. no way.
Thinking about it, technically that doesn’t even need to be that complex with hydraulics, just a sturdy arm and a winch. But it’s still kind of wasted, extra weight for no reason compared to putting the bed or storage above a garage.
Anyway really awesome tiny house.
Though it makes a neat little deck once the car is relocated. It’d be fantastic in the forest at night.
Yeah but the whole roof is premium space. I’d put solar panels over the whole surface. But you could also make a big deck to walk on with maybe a deployable balustrade. Or maybe even some kind of very low roof greenhouse lol. Lots of creative ideas for tiny houses.
Looks like they have a crane up there, but if it breaks you have to find an appropriate height overpass.
I’m astonished by the fact that’s on sand on a beach…
Nothing is towing that giant thing if it gets stuck.
No way!!! I saw that same truck a few days ago in Germany. It must be the exact same, because it’s pretty recognizable and unique.
That truck has a shuttle craft.
For some reason, your comment put Seagulls in my head (that log had a child!) lol
You’ve been added to the Best of Lemmy: https://sh.itjust.works/post/65143445
spotted, its, its
Yes, but they’re probably Danish, and this is one of our tells. We use -t instead of -d for past tense.
they basically wrote it with a correct Danish accent :)
Korrekt!
Fiat 500. Interesting curiosity. But I’d never want to daily drive it. It’s a rat cage on wheels.
Still better than a bicycle in the rain though
It’s clearly not a “daily driver”, the house is.
Of course, a Swiss fucker.
But, to be honest, it looks cool as fuck and is probably super luxurious.
Of course, a Swiss fucker.
? Is there a reputation?
Not that I am aware of. But there are some tendencies. Dutch drive the smallest, oldest caravan, Swiss the most luxurious, and Germans the average Fiat
For the Swiss? No, not at all, unless you count amoral greed, political cowardice, and unfounded arrogance. Europes personal tax oasis, inhabited by the most spineless, fuck you i got mine population. As long as the corrupt money comes in and the poors stay out the country is happy.
I live in a LWB sprinter. And it’s nice, but I’m still jealous. Mind you, that would be tricky to park in the city.
I definetly didn’t read Forpedo
