No it’s not blasphemy. It’s a form of orthodoxy. “God made man in his image”, Jesus is “son of man”, and “the way and the life”. It’s pretty much there in the text that the bible in parts is just a set of instructions and examples to follow. So, yes. God stands for us. At least as a part of us. (God is portrayed as saying “I am”, meaning when you say “I” you say “god”.) god is the part of humans that creates. But we are both creators and creatures.

DM’ing my first DnD one-shot. I really didn’t know how it would work out, if it would even happen (people are unreliable sometimes), or if I was putting way too much work into it.

But we all had such a blast and we already have the next two sessions scheduled. And my friendship with my colleagues is blossoming from it and it gives me such a feeling of belonging and being appreciated.

I kinda disagree. I’d even say that’s the main thing that kids are supposed to learn especially in elementary school. Social skills and behaviour are the things that are great to teach in groups. Not so great at home with 1-3 kids

What’s your experience with groups of children? You can show stuff. But repetition and practice are not a great thing in a school setting. That needs to happen outside of school. I’ve worked with far over thousand kids and worked in elementary schools for over 10 years now. Yes you can “teach” the things. But the kids need time and space for their own pace at repeating and practicing them

So many daily small thzate kinda impossible to teach a whole class, but are easy to teach a single child (source: I work in a school):

• reading the clock. May sound weird, but some kids get it really early and quickly, some take more time. Thus pretty frustrating to teach the whole class
• tying shoes (I know too many kids with 8 or 9 years old who can’t tie a knot, shoes are a good starter)
• generally small motor skills (crafts, crochet, weaving, whatever you want…)

And the one thing that school cannot teach and is also very difficult for parents: questioning authority

For me it’s simply routine. If I have pictures that I want in high quality without compression, I have tiff or raw, but jpeg is usually enough to save images without using much space and still having the colour profile embedded.

No, it’s the other way around. You want them to come over, spend their money in your country, see the good in other places, take some hope with them.

Hm I’d say not necessarily. That depends on your situation I guess. The question comes down to “would you give up your property for other people to live in?” If you own 1-2 small properties, that’s not being a greedy landlord. And it would make it possible for you to give people housing they could afford (while still profitable for you, if you needed it to be).

If you charge insane rents, then you’re not only a hypocrite but maybe also schizophrenic. That just sounds like a disconnect.

But it’s very possible to “change the system from within”, even if that’s not my political opinion. If you can buy property, maybe you should. And then rent it to people for an affordable price.
