My brother married a Mexican woman and during their first Thanksgiving together, sitting around the table with family members, my brother made a joking comment saying “now it’s time for the Airing of Grievances!”
His wife’s brother (who apparently wasn’t a Seinfeld fan) misheard him as having said “the Aryan Grievances” and was like “what sort of fucked up white people shit is this?!”
Maybe this is why some drinks are served with little umbrellas.
