JD Vance could provide neither a timeline for the Iran war to end nor a date when gas prices might sink below pre-war levels during a White House appearance Thursday, suggesting instead it was up to Iran to conclude the conflict that began with joint US-Israeli airstrikes six months ago.
The current hostilities shouldn’t even be called a “war,” Vance argued, since “active combat operations” ended months ago.
“Right now, there is no active shooting,” Vance insisted, despite three consecutive days this week when the US and Iran exchanged fire, including around the Strait of Hormuz.
Cnn calling it a conflict in the headline, instead of the war that it actually is, is just proving Vance’s false point

I think there might have been some difference of opinion between the article+URL author and the editor given the URL says war lol

CNN has been a shitty, garbage company for at least two decades now.
I’m beyond caring what Trump says now, but I never cared what Vance said.
It’s a forever
warspecial military operation.A special military operation maybe.
Just for a three days.
We can’t do shit about it though. Fucking traitors in Congress.
The Vietnam war was also not called a war, it was called a police action. It seems the Executive Branch’s ability to wage war without congress’s approval is a constitutional loophole.
Edited for clarity
Ah. Say you’re a war mongering dictatorship without saying you’re the same as Putin and co.
Its a Moneypit.
So iran has all the power
Definitely not a war. Just some tit-for-tat shenanigans. A little fun blowing things up. Can’t stop the boys getting up to some hijinks now and then.

When what will end?
Trump Today (and probably other days): “I think the war’s going to end immediately after the election because they can’t hold out any longer,” Trump said of Tehran on Wednesday.
Edgar Bergen and Mortimer Snerd (Peter Thiel and Shady Vance). Apologies to Edgar Bergen…and Mortimer Snerd.
Well, so long as the Secretary of War isn’t involved, then it’s probably not a war …
