    Yeah Hillary was technically correct, but she couldn’t have had worse political instincts in that moment.

      Honestly, if the “liberal media” didn’t make such a hullabaloo about a big nothing, essentially giving the extremely radical right wing an assist, it would have blown over as just merely being an accurate observation.

      Instead, there is all the usual Murc’s Law bullshit at play here: Democrats have to be pure as the driven snow and cannot even state the truth lest it hurt the tender feelings of right wing snowflakes; Republicans, who are expected to be awful, and just cannot help it, get a pass on things like bragging about sexually assaulting women and having it written off as “locker room talk”.

      Republicans are allowed to just about say and do anything and get praised as just being straight shooters that speak like everyday people. Heaven forbid a Democrat were to do the same thing…
