Many federation things are broken atm. i know of Multiple communitys that are behind hours or Multiple days both on lemmy.world and Kbin the instance owner says their server got tons of recources free so its federation related bugs i guess.

I’ll probably end up in a totally defederated instance or another platform altogether the way things are looking.

I just read this morning that someone is spamming the hell out of lemmy.world from what looks like an attempted DDoS run with a ton of communities with a bunch of random post with no actual content.

What’s up with Lemmy.ml? Why would large instances block each other??? I’m genuinely confused
