Yes, they changed the anti cheat on it and explicitly blocked Linux a few years ago

I started dual booting just to play it. It was disappointing.
I have run genshin on both the steam deck and a relatively old laptop running mint.
Neither was without hassles, but it played fine

I use the Heroic Games launcher, with which you can play your Epic Games Store games. Works absolutely flawlessly.
Unfortunately, Epic store will soon be available on Linux soon too. Geforce Now already is :(
