    Brendan Eich is both vocally and financially opposed to LGBT+ equality. The browser has actively enabled targeted ads. They’ve actively promoted crypto and have been in bed with specific crypto brokers to promote its use. They’ve been adding their own promo codes to URLs for private benefit.

    They don’t give a shit about privacy. Don’t touch them with a barge pole.

      I don’t mean to make light of the bigotry, but the fact that that fuckwad inflicted JavaScript upon the world is reason enough to hate him and avoid his shit by itself. He has a proven track record of incompetence and terrible design decisions.

        javascript is one of the best programming languages in the world. is was one of the first mainstream languages to adapt features such as coroutines, imports based on filename instead of classname/library name, etc.

        it does a lot of things right. haters gonna complain about the 5% efficiency lost because it doesn’t use static typing.

        Cromite has a built in adblocker but it also allows you to install extensions.

        I have Ublock Origin and Libredirect installed in Cromite on my phone.
