I think you’re being pedantic. I was simply trying to call out that Trump has never faced criminal prosecution for rape, which convicted alludes to, but that he hopefully will soon.

You were being pedantic about convicted vs liable. I was suggest you instead be pedantic about adjudicated vs convicted. I don’t trust people to interpret “liable” in earnest in this context. Saying that he is an adjudicated rapist more directly states a judge [in a court of law] declared that he is guilty of rape [after being presented with evidence and testimony, without incorrectly implying that he was convicted of a criminal charge.
