I don’t think you understand. These poor companies are only doing what they must to provide excellent products and services to the masses. If you cannot afford them, simply stop being poor.

That aside, “basic economic factors” include corporate greed, since mainstream economic theory assumes that individuals are acting to maximize their own profits with perfect information and complete disregard for anyone but themselves. This describes most people badly, but it’s a decent fit for greedy assholes with access to resources. Think what this means for your average company.
