California Gov. Gavin Newsom vetoed a law Sunday that would have expanded the state’s privacy protections to ban the sales of online users’ sensitive information, breaking with a group of states that have prohibited the practice.
And we lost to Trump. A campaign needs to be more than “I’m not Trump”. Same shit almost lost Brazil to the fascists. “I’m not Trump” is good enough for informed voters, but that’s not enough. You have to reach the uninformed and misinformed too.
That strategy has not worked the last 10 times we tried it, but maybe one more time will do the trick!

An actual well thought out platform would be great, but the oligarchs who own politics would never let that happen I’m afraid.
