A group representing General Motors, Toyota, Volkswagen and other major automakers on Monday backed the Trump administration in a legal challenge to its sharply lower vehicle fuel economy standards filed by California and other states.
Well those car manufacturers could stop paying to lobby and use that money to actually innovate. I do not know about the US, but back where I live, people actually want to move away from fossil fueled cars and they do not give a flying fuck about whether it is the Chinese spying on them or the US Tech bros.
