How so? Someone was fired over their usage of Mx. How is removing gendered titles divisive?

You think that the answer to not allowing someone to use their preferred title is to not allow someone to use their preferred title?

Using neutral language, yes, like neutral bathrooms. The title is a way to be neither, and no title achieves the same result.

                  OK?

Most people have always grasped its usage because it has always been used. That’s usually something that has to be explained to bigots.

But that isn’t the same thing as respecting the usage of personal preferences for gendered pronouns and titles. Which is also something that has to be explained to bigots. And that is what this thread is about.
