So from what I understand, it wasn’t a review, it was someone on social media posing a question about a brand. The kind of thing that might lead to an actual review, but not something I would consider a review.

The OP ended up saying that the product is killing people.
That seems to be the big thing that gave the company justification to do something.
Basically a person started a discussion on social media, ended up claiming that a product is killing people from excessive sugar, and then got sued.
They aren’t being sued from giving a review. But the headline sure baits you into thinking that ;)
No, they were jailed for comments made online, not sued. They are facing potential jail time, probably because a relative got overzealous and angry at a posting.
I did read the article, not just the headline. Dunno how you got the opposite take.
