Then, they look confused when I tell them I don’t want the thing connected to the Internet.
But how will they know about your driving habits? How will they sell data to the actuaries? You’re being selfish. What are you hiding?
Keep up the attacks, fuck ‘em
This is hurting blue collar workers the most, FYI.
Can’t make an omelette without cracking a few eggs.
Crack enough eggs, and you won’t have any left for the omelette.
Oh well. If I can’t have any then the rich assholes shouldn’t either.
Also how the fuck does your analogy make any sense? "Keep cracking eggs (for the omelette) and you won’t have any left ( for the omelette you just made). Sick of clowns like you.

So your plan to fix capitalism is to make the working class poorer?
Yes, it’s us with a poor grasp of how things work. You don’t even know what this software is for. Hint: it’s not for selling cars.
To be fair, the normal operation of dealership software is hardly distinguishable from a complete malware infection.
I’ve dealt with Reynolds and Reynolds, and ADP, and they are utter bags of moldy dogshit at the best of times.
SaaS has a downside you say?
Shocked I tell you! Shocked!
My kid’s doctor had their prescription service ransomwared. They paid it, and then got ransomwared again by the same folks.
It’s been six months now, the prescription system is broken, and they’ve been using paper prescriptions since then with no idea when things will get fixed.
I work at a Mack truck dealer and this has been a pain in the ass
Now we just need to nuke them all from orbit and move to a better transit world.
Too much of a leftist grift even for Lemmy, yikes
Probably because of the nukes, if you have a weapons platform in orbit you can do something like launch large metal rods and it’ll have the same destructive force without any of the nasty radioactive fallout
You’ve cracked the code, brother. You received 9 up votes and no down votes.
