    Because there is a seperate federated few communities already existed out there for LGBTQ communities. It might not be on the .world systems but a few communities out there use their own systems and community bunch. Nomatter where your home account is, you can access, see and post on the others. Just know it does take some time for access in some communities as some are rather cautious.

      Eh, I like World better because of a few bad apples I’ve had to deal with in other instances. People seem nicer here.

        Very fair enough, It was more of a informative response. Lately a giant jump in userbase increase among various federated systems, so information somewhere is always a good thing :)

    There’s a few already on lemmy in general. Not sure what you’re not seeing

    This is the first on lemmy.world. But unless it’s important to have one on .world, why not just join another that’s already thriving?

      Because the instance admins encouraged people to make their own communities.

      I don’t really see why not otherwise there wouldn’t be much point to making communities XD
