Full release next year, Wine Fork + fex core and many good things, no bottleneck of any kind. Vulkan 1.1 minimum. Cassia Windows Emu is being developed by Mark and Bylaws, while Strato is the continuation of Skyline by Lynx and TheASV.

Might be serious potential for an Android handheld to rival the Steam Deck. Any whispers about a release date for this or open sourcing?

Wine fork will be open source, the frontend will be closed source for a while. No release date yet, only year.

It’ll take more than just a compatibility layer for it to even come close to competing with the Steam Deck, or just Proton in general, IMHO.

So can Cassia Wine play any DX9 game since you mentioned GTA IV or there are other limitations?

No limitations. Directx 8 and above supported. 32 bit games including the gta games before V and GTA V too with 64 bit support.

So potentially Blizzard games etc? Would be great perhaps on a tablet.

The fact that this is possible blows my mind. I personally can’t wait to play Sims 3 on a Tablet.
