  • Googling so many “how do I do X?” type of questions have top-results of 10-minute videos where someone has their cluttered Desktop in full 1920x1080 and then they open the tiny command prompt in a small window (it’s clear they have no idea how to record a video), where they clumsily type commands they clearly don’t understand, and fumble through the entire process.

I just needed a single command. It should have been a 1-second result at the top of search, not shitty videos or SEO dynamically-generated shit site that are trying to sell me something.

  • Prometheus made me angry at everything and everyone. There was such an interesting story there and it just seemed like every character did the wrong thing. Then the movie ended on what felt like a starting point of something incredible.

…and then Covenant comes out and just throws the entire Prometheus story in the trash and gives us a generic monster movie with yet another blue-balls ending that will never be resolved.

We’ll never get a complete story of Prometheus or find out what happens after Covenant.

    “Flawed” is an understatement.

  • The old Pfizer doses would shut me down for 3 days.

    Fever, chills, body aches, fatigue.

The first shot wasn’t so bad. The second and third were insane.

I’m pretty sure I’ve had a fourth shot, but I don’t remember how I felt. I think I got covid last year, after already having the third shot, and I’ve been dealing with symptoms for over a year now (mostly muscle fatigue).

I want the new shot with the new variant mix, but I’m also afraid of how I’m going to react to it. I have too much going on at work and home right now to take half a week off for the shot.

I have a pretty crummy immune system and have always dealt with autoimmune issues, so it’s important that I get the shot, even if I react badly to it. :/

  • They were willing to fuck over some people and drive them completely out of business.

Which people? Developers. The very people that helped make Unity what it is. Unity wanted to completely crush their own developers. Some estimates put Unity’s fees higher than 100% revenue in some scenarios.

Them back-tracking and saying “wow! we didn’t expect this to be so hated!” shows that they either don’t understand numbers (they do) or that they think their users are idiots.

So why would developers want to come back to them?
