Is it okay to bomb economic infrastructure of a sovereign nation because it doesn’t treat its women with respect? Because that’s a little ironic coming from an American.

Ok, there are two apartheid genocidal regimes, but what else have the Romans ever done for us?
Is this actually real? If so the brain worm thing is not even a joke anymore, they must have done some serious neurological damage because that’s messed up.
If she couldn’t win the primary, how can she win the general? Not like AIPAC will just stop influencing the election.
The SpaceX rocket unfortunately isn’t powerful enough to launch anything into the sun, but yes.
Foot-pound is not a unit of pressure, ignoring the fact that it’s a stupid non-metric unit.
Neither should I tbh. Not that I turn into a racist or anything, I just end up sending random unfunny shit in old group chats and get in arguments with people online.
Because there are 9 justices, so there would be a new appointment every 2 years, giving every presidential term two appointments. So it will exactly avoid all that shit this way.
Interesting how you could change the label on this map to be literal anything good/bad and it would be accurate in almost all cases. Maybe both parties are not the same after all.
Yeah, I was so confused and couldn’t understand if this was some ultra-racist news article or something.
I don’t really think that’s true. I think you could offer him a large sum of money to do the right thing and he still wouldn’t do it. It’s not even like the bribes are that huge. John Oliver tried, and I know that it was too public of course, but I still think if some rich progressive person were to offer him 10 million dollars or something to not be a huge POS he still wouldn’t take the offer cause he also just happens to be a huge POS. Like the bribes are nice, but he does also just personally want to make America a christofascist hellhole.
To explain it in American terms:
Pennsylvania has just voted in an election for US Congress on the federal level, and voted in the Republicans with huge gains. The Democratic Pennsylvania Governor then calls for an election for the state legislature of Pennsylvania (this can’t be done in the US, but let’s pretend it can) so that the people can elect a new state legislature that more closely aligns with their current position.
I had windows do a large update in the middle of an exam once. Like the major version number changes or something, took probably like an hour and a half. I was quite lucky with the exact timing and the fact that I am usually able to finish exams quickly as I did end up having half an hour for the exam, but it did make the whole situation a bit more spicy than necessary.
Well, he’s not paying until the appeals process is over, which presumably will go way into the next presidential term.
Just because you’re a felon doesn’t mean you’re not a citizen and part of the country. As such, you should be able to partake in democracy in all possible ways as well.
I really dislike this punitive mindset of completely ruining someone’s life for being convicted of a crime. People make mistakes, but we don’t want to exclude them from society, we want to reform them and bring them back in. So yeah, I think, even excluding all this political bs, that no person should have their right to vote or run taken from them.
Surely, hopefully, he is either dead or in prison in 2028, anything else would be a disgrace.
Doesn’t the Obergefell decision confirm that discrimination based on sexual orientation by definition is discrimination based on sex, and therefore illegal under the civil rights act? So why should this be allowed?
We have a great saying in Danish for people like you: “Thief thinks everyone steals”. Just because you think money’s all that matters doesn’t mean that applies to everyone.
To be fair, he’s also breaking Pennsylvanian lottery laws which he could be prosecuted for on a state level.
